NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION
Your little one takes center stage in every image, with carefully selected accessories and props contributing to the minimalistic and timeless aesthetic. My signature style is created by soft, creamy skin tones, defining shadows, and clean sets. We will work together to choose colors and set expectations. All my backdrops, headbands, bonnets, wraps, fabrics, and props are available for use. Upon booking, you will receive a Preparation Guide filled with valuable tips to get ready for your session.

+ When is the best time to book a newborn session?
The best time to contact me is during your pregnancy, ideally in the second trimester. As I only take a limited number of sessions each month, early contact ensures availability. Upon booking your newborn session, a creative fee is paid, and your due date is added to my calendar. After your baby arrives, we'll coordinate to schedule a convenient date and time for the session.
+ When will the session take place?
Newborns are best photographed in the first 4 weeks. During this period, babies tend to sleep more soundly, effortlessly curl into adorable poses, and are less likely to experience colic, baby acne or cradle cap.
+ Are sibling/parents shots included?
Absolutely! Family shots are always included! I love capturing the genuine connections within your new family. A supplementary fee will apply exclusively to extended family members, pets, or any additional individuals participating in the session.
+ What should I bring?
Only your sweet new bundle of joy. Our studio is fully equipped with everything your sweet new bundle of joy might need to be photographed. From cozy blankets to adorable props, we've got it covered.
+ How long does the session last?
Our sessions are designed to be approximately 3 hours long, allowing ample time for feeding and cuddling whenever needed. These sessions are scheduled on weekdays in the mornings. This timing ensures that your baby has not yet been overstimulated by the day's activities.
+ Where do newborn sessions take place?
All newborn sessions take place in the comfort of my home studio, conveniently located on East 20th Street and 1st Ave.
+ Would you travel to my aparment?
For the sake of maintaining the consistent quality of my work, I do not travel for newborn sessions. My home studio offers the ideal setting where all variables are meticulously controlled – from lighting and backdrop systems to maintaining the perfect room temperature and an extensive array of props. A home studio ensures a stress-free experience for you; simply relax on the couch while I craft beautiful images of your little one. Traveling to the studio tends to be easier than the efforts involved in tidying up, rearranging furniture for optimal space and lighting angles, and managing the perfect environmental temperature. Trust me on this – stepping out for some fresh air becomes a far more enjoyable alternative!
+ Are the images retouched?
Each portrait in your private online gallery, consisting of 30-50 unique images, comes complete with professional post-processing and artistic editing and retouching.
+ How much should I budget for the session?
A Creative Fee of $395 is paid to secure your date. It covers the Photographer's time and talent, pre-consultation via phone or email, a customized styled session, use of props, and professional post-processing with artistic editing for your exclusive online gallery. Please note, the creative fee does not cover prints, products, or digital images, which are available for purchase through digital collections and/or à la Carte options. Clients typically invest between $1095 and $3500 in images from their personalized photography session. For detailed pricing information, feel free to contact the studio.
+ Are you vaccinated?
Absolutely! I am current with my TdaP vaccine, receive yearly flu shots, and have been fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID.
