All custom styled sessions take place in the comfort of my home studio, conveniently located on East 20th Street and 1st Ave. Crafting and perfecting each set takes considerable time and attention to detail. While outdoor shoots are an option, please note that I am unable to provide decorations or studio equipment for sessions conducted outdoors.

Not at all! Babies typically only taste a little or play with the cake during the session, they don't actually eat much of it. Most parents skip the sugar-free version and just bring a regular cake. If you'd still prefer sugar-free, that's completely fine too, just let me know ahead of time.

As we celebrate your baby's first birthday, we focus exclusively on them. While I provide the choice to add-on a few parent or sibling images, it's worth noting that for some babies, this addition can be a bit overwhelming. The introduction of extra stimulation then separation may pose a challenge for them to fully engage in the session afterward. I recommend opting for the add-on only if you believe your baby can comfortably handle the extra stretch.

Your studio session comes complete with decorations, and also featuring ONE letters, balloons, cake stands, and a clawfoot tub for the splash bath. We've got all the charming details covered to make your session truly special and memorable.

Although I'm unable to personally handle cake orders due to allergy liability, I've established close partnerships with talented bakers who offer delivery services. Alternatively, I can guide you in the right direction to order or create the perfect cake for your session. We will collaborate to ensure every detail, including the cake, contributes to a wonderful and personalized experience.

Sessions typically range between 35 to 60 minutes, and the pace of the session is guided by your baby's comfort and needs. The experience includes a variety of birthday portraits, the much-anticipated cake smash and concludes with a fun splash bath, creating a memorable full-circle celebration.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, it's essential to prioritize the well-being of your little one. If your child is unwell, rescheduling the session is a must, as a sick child may not fully enjoy the experience, and not every crust or runny nose can be corrected in post-production. Additionally, maintaining a high level of safety is crucial, especially for newborns who will be photographed in the following days. We are committed to being extra diligent, and with any indication of illness or exposure, we will promptly reschedule our shoot. Your baby's health and safety are our top priorities.

Each portrait in your private online gallery, consisting of 30-60 unique images, comes complete with professional post-processing and artistic editing and retouching.

A Creative Fee of $395 ($545 on weekends) is paid to secure your date. It covers the Photographer's time, pre-consultation, a customized styled session, use of props, and professional post-processing with artistic editing for your exclusive online gallery. Please note, the creative fee does not cover prints, products, or digital images, which are available for purchase through digital collections and/or à la Carte options.
